Nicholas, the owner of L&S Handyman Services, was introduced to interior painting & drywall repair between 9-10 years old. Nicholas' father, Joe, was a great handyman that could work on just about anything; painting & remodeling was another one of his specialties.

Nicholas took an interest in anything his father did so while watching his father remodel his home, he asked his father to teach him how to repair drywall & how to paint correctly.

Under his father's supervision & guidance, Nicholas quickly picked up on the skills needed to deliver quality work in a timely fashion. Nicholas would continue helping his father over the next several years with painting/remodeling jobs, along with remodeling his father's entire home from the kitchen, bathrooms, living room, hallways, you name it, they did it!

Not only did Nicholas learn drywall repair & painting from his father, he also learned the fundamentals behind flooring, tile work, finishing carpentry, window & door installation, The list goes on & on.

At 17 years of age, Nicholas began handing out flyers in local neighborhoods to drum up some side work of his own! Although Nicholas was successful in landing several jobs, he found it difficult to gain the trust of potential customers.

They would doubt Nicholas' skills simply based on his age, most likely thinking, "There is no way this young kid can do this work. If I don't know how to do it, how could he."

Nicholas then began working for a local construction company at 18 years of age, working on all types of projects, which really helped him fine tune his skills! Nicholas was working alongside 4-5 other grown men, ranging in ages between 35-50 years old, & shockingly enough, was able to hold his own with these guys!

Nicholas decided to open up his own handyman services company, once again in 2023, to pursue his dreams of turning client's houses into their homes, delivering the best quality services around.
